  1. (a) The child safety centers shall provide or provide access to specialized medical examinations and psychological examinations for their clients, to the extent funding is appropriated and available.

  2. (b) Medical providers operating under this chapter shall be capable of performing:

    1. (A) A complete medical history;

    2. (B) An evaluation of a child or an adolescent for evidence of sexual abuse or sexual assault including photo documentation of examination findings for recognition of genital and anal findings that are clearly normal or normal variants and common patterns of healed injuries;

    3. (C) Collection of forensic evidence;

    4. (D) Evaluation for sexually transmitted diseases, pregnancy, and other related sexual abuse and assault;

    5. (E) Performance of tests and treatment as appropriate; and

    6. (F) Testimony in court as to the findings.
