PocketLaw may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Statement in effect at the time such information is used. What Information does PocketLaw Collect?
Information You Provide to Us:

We receive and store any information you knowingly provide to us. For example, information about you that you give us by filling in forms on our Platform or by corresponding with us by e-mail or otherwise. You understand some content and/or information in those accounts (“Third Party Account Information”) may be transmitted into your account with us, and that Third Party Account Information transmitted to our Services is covered by this Privacy Policy. Certain information may be required to register with us or to take advantage of some of our features. We may communicate with you if you’ve provided us the means to do so. For example, if you’ve given us your email address, we may send you promotional email offers on behalf of other businesses, or email you about your use of the Services. Information you give us.

This is information about you that you give us by filling in forms on our Platform or by corresponding with us by e-mail or otherwise. It includes information you provide when you register to use our Platform, or use our Services, enter a competition, promotion or survey on the Platform and when you report a problem with our Platform. The information you give us may include your name and/or e-mail address. In order to take advantage of some of our Services, you may need to supply us with the personal details of a third party (for example, their name and address if you wish to send them some of our products). We will not use this information for anything other than providing the Service for which the information was supplied.

With regard to each of your visits to our Platform we will automatically collect the following information: technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your platforms unique device ID, your platforms operating system, and the type of device used to access the Platform for the purpose of making our user experience better. How does PocketLaw use the information it collects?

Personal information about our users is an integral part of our business. We neither rent nor sell your personal information to anyone (with the exception of sharing your information with an applicable Application Partner – see the “Application Partner Treatment” section above). We share your personal information as described below.

Application Partners: We will share your personal information with an applicable Application Partner (see the “Application Partner Treatment” section above).

Agents: We employ other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your information with them to provide products or services to you. Unless we tell you differently, PocketLaw’s agents do not have any right to use personal information we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us. You hereby consent to our sharing of personal information for the above purposes.

Business Transfers: In some cases, we may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, customer information is typically one of the business assets that are transferred. Moreover, if PocketLaw, or substantially all of its assets were acquired, or in the unlikely event that PocketLaw goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of PocketLaw may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

Protection of PocketLaw and Others: We may release personal information when we believe in good faith that release is necessary to comply with the law; enforce or apply our conditions of use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of PocketLaw, our employees, our users, or others. What are my opt-out rights?

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. Condition of use.

If you decide to use or otherwise access the Application, your use/access and any possible dispute over privacy is subject to this Privacy Statement and our Terms of Use, including limitations on damages, arbitration of disputes, and application of California state law.

Third party application/websites.

The Application may permit you to link to other applications or websites. Such third party applications/websites may not be under PocketLaw’s control, and such links do not constitute an endorsement by PocketLaw of those other applications/websites or the services offered through them. The privacy and security practices of such third party application/websites linked to the Application are not covered by this Privacy Statement, and PocketLaw is not responsible for the privacy or security practices or the content of such websites.

What Personal Information can I access?

PocketLaw allows you to access the following information about you for the purpose of viewing, and in certain situations, updating that information. The information you can view, update, and delete may change as the Services change.

Security

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

Can children use the services?

Our site and the services available through PocketLaw are not intended for children under the age of 13. PocketLaw does not knowingly or specifically collect information about children under the age of 13 and believes that children of any age should get their parents’ consent before giving out any personal information.
