  1. (a) A registered out-of-state bank shall apply for an amended certificate of authority from the Bank Commissioner if it changes:

    1. (1) The name of the bank;

    2. (2) The period of its duration; or

    3. (3) The state or country under which it is chartered.

  2. (b) The requirements of § 23-48-1001 for applying for an original certificate of authority shall also apply to applications for obtaining an amended certificate of authority hereunder.
