Arkansas Child Death Review Panel — Creation

  1. (a) The Arkansas Child Death Review Panel is created within the Arkansas Child Abuse/Rape/Domestic Violence Commission.

  2. (b) The Arkansas Child Death Review Panel shall consist of the following members:

    1. (1) A representative from the State Medical Examiner's office;

    2. (2) A coroner who is registered with the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators;

    3. (3) A representative from the Arkansas Center for Health Statistics of the Department of Health;

    4. (4) A representative from the Crimes Against Children Division of the Department of Arkansas State Police;

    5. (5) A representative from the Division of Children and Family Services of the Department of Human Services;

    6. (6) A representative from the Arkansas Child Abuse/Rape/Domestic Violence Commission;

    7. (7) A physician who specializes in child abuse;

    8. (8) A representative from the College of Public Health of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences;

    9. (9) A representative from the office of the Prosecutor Coordinator; and

    10. (10) Any other individuals the Arkansas Child Death Review Panel determines are necessary for a review.
