  1. (a) For a license to install or service portable fire extinguishers, for a license to sell, install, or service fixed fire protection systems, or for a license to conduct any fire protection sprinkler system business, a person employed by a certified firm shall obtain a license issued by the Arkansas Fire Protection Licensing Board after:

    1. (1) Successful completion of the requirements for licensure under rules of the board; and

    2. (2) Payment of fees established under rules of the board.

  2. (b) A firm shall:

    1. (1) Maintain in force at all times while licensed a public liability insurance policy covering its operations and completed operations with a minimum limit of liability of one million dollars ($1,000,000) per occurrence for bodily injury and one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) per occurrence for property damage or a single limit of liability for bodily injury and property damage of one million dollars ($1,000,000) per occurrence; and

    2. (2) File a current certificate of insurance to be maintained with the board.
