  1. (a) Any person, firm, or corporation desiring to operate as a barber, barbershop, barber corporation, or barber school or college which fails to file an application for certificate of registration shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.

  2. (b) Any person, firm, or corporation which shall operate as a barber, barbershop, barber corporation, or barber school or college without a certificate of registration duly and legally issued by the State Board of Barber Examiners shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable upon conviction by a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100).

  3. (c) The willful making of any false statement to a material matter in any oath or affidavit which is required under this chapter shall be perjury and punishable as such.

  4. (d) Each day of unlawful practice as described in this section shall constitute a separate offense.

  5. (e) It shall be the duty of all prosecuting attorneys of the state and all political subdivisions of the state to enforce the provisions of this chapter and prosecute persons violating them.
