Probation generally — Transfer of jurisdiction

  1. (a) If a defendant during a period of probation goes from a county where he or she is being supervised to another county, jurisdiction over the defendant may be transferred in the discretion of the supervising court to a court of comparable jurisdiction in the other county if the court in the other county concurs.

  2. (b) If jurisdiction over a defendant is transferred under subsection (a) of this section, the court in the county to which jurisdiction is transferred has any power with respect to the defendant previously possessed by the transferring court.

  3. (c) The procedure under this section may be repeated if a defendant goes from the county where he or she is being supervised to another county during the period of his or her probation.
