As used in this subchapter:

  1. (1) “Correctional institution” means any state or privately operated prison, community correctional facility, county jail, city jail, or any other state, local, or privately operated detention facility; and

  2. (2) “Parole or probation officer” means a parole or probation officer of the Department of Community Correction.
