Abstract of execution

  1. (a) The clerk shall keep a well-bound book in which he or she shall enter an abstract of all executions issued by him or her or out of his or her office, showing:

    1. (1) The date of the execution;

    2. (2) The names of the parties;

    3. (3) The amount of debt;

    4. (4) Damages;

    5. (5) Costs;

    6. (6) To what officer and county directed;

    7. (7) The return, if any; and

    8. (8) A reference to the book and page wherein the judgment, order, or decree whereon the execution issued is entered.

  2. (b) Every clerk shall, moreover, keep a regular index in alphabetical order, to the abstract of executions, both by the names of the plaintiffs and of the defendants therein.
