  1. (a)

    1. (1) The district court clerk shall collect a fee of ten dollars ($10.00) for filing or issuing writs, including writs of garnishment and executions.

    2. (2) The fee under subdivision (a)(1) of this section is in addition to fees and costs established by law for specific purposes or as authorized by the county quorum court or municipality.

  2. (b)

    1. (1) The district court clerk shall collect a fee of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) for drawing and issuing, or sealing, a summons or subpoena if the summons or subpoena follows the form incorporated into Rule 4 of the Arkansas Rules of Civil Procedure.

    2. (2) A fee shall not be collected under this subsection if the summons or subpoena follows the form incorporated into Rule 4 of the Arkansas District Court Rules and the summons or subpoena is not a separate document.

  3. (c) All funds derived from the fees under this section shall be paid into the general fund of the treasury of each political subdivision that contributes to the expenses of the district court based on the percentage of the expenses contributed by the political subdivision to be appropriated for any permissible use in the administration of the district court.
