  1. (a) Each chancellor of the Sixth Judicial District may appoint one (1) case coordinator whose principal duties will be the maintenance of the court calendar, setting dates for trial of cases and for hearing of motions, and other related and incidental duties as directed by the chancellor, including, but not limited to, duties in the clerk's office.

  2. (b) The case coordinator shall receive an annual salary of not less than twelve thousand six hundred dollars ($12,600) nor more than the salary provided by law for the chancery court reporters of the Sixth Judicial District.

  3. (c) For the purposes of any retirement act or system, case coordinators shall be treated in the same manner and to the same effect as chancery court reporters.
