  1. (a) Each chancellor of the Sixth Judicial District may appoint one (1) court reporter to serve his or her court.

  2. (b) Each of the circuit, chancery, and circuit-chancery judges provided for in § 16-13-1403(b) are authorized to employ a court reporter. The court reporters shall receive such compensation as is provided by law.

  3. (c) There shall be provided for the judge of the circuit-chancery judgeship created by § 16-13-1403(d) a court reporter, whose salary shall be fixed and paid in the manner provided by law for court reporters of the circuit-chancery courts of this state.
