  1. (a)

    1. (1) The county court of any county is authorized, empowered, and required, on the petition of a majority in land value, acreage, or number of landowners of any townships or any fractional part of them contiguous to each other, to form and establish a fencing district and establish the boundaries of it, in accordance with the petition.

    2. (2) The court may change the boundaries of the district by adding new territory contiguous to it upon the application of a majority in land value, acreage, or number of landowners of the territory to be added.

    3. (3) Each district shall be designated by number.

  2. (b)

    1. (1) The petitioners shall specify in their petition what stock they wish to restrain from running at large, and the county court shall make an order restraining the stock mentioned in the petition from running at large within the district.

    2. (2) The district shall apply to such stock as are mentioned in the petition.
