  1. (a) Each member of the Old State House Commission shall, before entering upon his or her duties, file in the office of the Secretary of State, the oath provided by Arkansas Constitution, Article 19, § 20, and in addition that he or she will not be a party, directly or indirectly, to any action taken by the commission that may in any manner affect his or her private interests.

  2. (b) The violation of the oath shall constitute a misdemeanor punishable by fine in any amount not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500) or by imprisonment not exceeding one (1) year, or by both fine and imprisonment.

  3. (c) Conviction shall bar a person from continued membership and shall void any action of the commission in which he or she participated.
