All counties of the State of Arkansas shall maintain county recorder's records for the county as follows, if they are currently being maintained:

  1. (1) Maintain permanently:

    1. (A) Deeds, mortgages, assignments, and all other conveyance records;

    2. (B) Forfeited land records;

    3. (C) Timber, mineral, oil and gas deeds and leases;

    4. (D) Surveys;

    5. (E) Subdivision plats;

    6. (F) Lien records;

    7. (G) Military discharge records; and

    8. (H) Indices to all records; and

  2. (2) Maintain for ten (10) years, notary public bonds and official appointment bonds.
