  1. (a) All staff, employees, and other personnel of the Department of Correction shall be under the direct supervision and control of the Director of the Department of Correction, who shall report directly to the Board of Corrections.

  2. (b) The Compliance Division, which consists of but is not limited to a compliance attorney and an auditor, shall be under the direct authority of the board.
