  • (a) Each candidate shall designate one or more banks as his campaign depositories. The principal campaign committee of the candidate, and any other political committee authorized by the candidate to receive contributions or to make expenditures on his behalf, shall maintain a single checking account, and such other accounts as the committee determines, at a depository designated by the candidate and shall deposit all contributions received by the committee into the account. No expenditure, other than petty cash expenditures as provided in subsection (c) of this section, may be made by any committee on behalf of a candidate except by check drawn on such account.

  • (b) The treasurer of each political committee, which is not a political committee authorized by a candidate to receive contributions or to make expenditures on his behalf, shall designate one or more banks as campaign depositories of the committee and shall maintain a single checking account at one such depository. All contributions received by the committee shall be deposited in the account. No expenditure may be made by the committee except by check drawn on the account, other than petty cash expenditures as provided in subsection (c) of this section.

  • (c) A political committee may maintain a petty cash fund out of which it may make expenditures not in excess of $100 to any person in connection with a single purchase or transaction. A record of petty cash disbursements shall be kept in accordance with requirements established by the Supervisor, and the statements and reports thereof shall be furnished to the Supervisor as he may require.
