Policies issued by domestic insurer for delivery in another state

If any policy is issued by a domestic insurer for delivery to a person resident in another territory or state, and if the Commissioner of Insurance or corresponding public official of such other territory or state has advised the Commissioner that any such policy is not subject to approval or disapproval by such official, the Commissioner may by ruling require that such policy meet the applicable standards set forth in this chapter and in chapter 33 of this title.
