Any peace officer or any person employed as a watchman, guard, correctional officer, or in a supervisory capacity at any correctional facility in the Virgin Islands is authorized to stop, frisk and question any person found in any area designated and posted as restricted pursuant to section 4512 of this chapter. If any person so stopped and questioned fails to demonstrate to his examiner's satisfaction that he or she is authorized to be in the restricted area, the examiner, if he is a peace officer, may arrest such person without a warrant on the charge of trespass.
