The physician rendering the diagnosis of HIV infection or AIDS or providing treatment for the same shall report the initial diagnosis and date (by month, day and year) pertaining to HIV diagnosis or AIDS indicator diseases as the same shall be determined by the Commissioner of the Department of Health or an authorized representative, and as established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the United States Public Health Service. All clinical laboratories shall report, in accordance with the provisions of sections 32a and 32b of this title and the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, all results diagnostic of HIV and AIDS.
