  • (a) Any person who denies or interferes with admittance to or enjoyment of any of the places, accommodations, or conveyances listed in section 152 of this chapter, or otherwise interferes with the rights of a blind person under sections 152, 153, 154 and 155 of this chapter, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $500 and not more than $1000 or by imprisonment for not more than sixty days, or both.

  • (b) Any person, firm, or corporation, or agent thereof, who or which denies or interferes with admittance to or enjoyment of any of the places, accommodations, or conveyances listed in section 152 of this chapter, or otherwise interferes with the rights of a blind person under sections 152, 153, 154 and 155 of this chapter, shall be liable to the blind person in an action at law for actual and/or punitive damages, suit in equity, or other proper proceedings for redress, in any court of competent jurisdiction.
