The Director shall have the custody of the territorial standards of weights and measures and of the other standards and equipment provided for by this subchapter, and shall keep accurate records of the same. The director shall enforce the provisions of this subchapter. He shall have general supervision over the weights and measures offered for sale, sold or in use in the United States Virgin Islands. After the close of each fiscal year, he shall submit a written report to the Governor and the Legislature on all activities of his office.
