  • (a) Upon recommendation of the Board, the Commissioner of Health may issue a temporary license to a person in the employment of the Government of the Virgin Islands for the performance of his official duties, or to an applicant for examination for work under the supervision of a pharmacist, such temporary license in any case to be for a period not more than up to and including the date of announcement of the results of the next regular examination for which he is eligible; Provided, That if the person fails the examination such temporary license may be extended, at the discretion of the Commissioner of Health, upon the recommendation of the Board, to the date of announcement of result of the next examination.

  • (b) Upon recommendation of the Board, the Commissioner of Health may issue a temporary license for work under the supervision of a pharmacist to an applicant for license on the basis of reciprocity who meets all the qualifications except residence, for such period of time as is necessary to meet the residence requirement.

  • (c) A fee of $5 shall be required for a temporary license except in the case of persons receiving the same by virtue of employment by the Government of the Virgin Islands.
