§ 1251. Income accruing after payment or delivery
If property other than money is delivered to the treasurer under this chapter, the owner is entitled to receive from the treasurer any income, gain, or other increments identifiable to the owner realized or accruing on the property at or before liquidation or conversion of the property into money, but the owner is not entitled to any income, gain, or other increments realized or accruing on the money after liquidation. When money is paid or delivered to the treasurer under this chapter, the owner is not entitled to receive income, gain, or other increments accruing thereafter. (Added 2005, No. 161 (Adj.
