§ 5-401. Election and tenure of Mayor

The Mayor shall be elected by and from the qualified voters of Montpelier. The Mayor shall hold office for a term of two years or until the Mayor's successor is elected and qualified. (Amended 2013, No. M-19 (Adj. Sess.), § 2, eff. May 20, 2014.)
