§ 133-1101. Postponement and combining of Town meeting

(a) The selectmen may postpone the vote on any question to be voted at a special Town meeting to the annual meeting if such special meeting would fall within 120 days of the annual meeting.

(b) If a special Town meeting will fall within 120 days of another special Town meeting called by petition, the selectmen may warn the questions to be voted at such Town meeting for the later Town meeting, and may by resolution rescind the call of the earlier meeting.
