- Designation of Regional Control Centers — Criteria
The commissioner of health may consider the following criteria in designating regional control centers:
- Compliance or expected compliance with the state poison control standards;
- Location in relation to the geographical distribution of persons served;
- Whether the facility is presently providing poison control services; and
- The capacity of such providers to deliver and coordinate poison prevention awareness programs to the general public.
