In addition to all other powers granted under this chapter, the commissioner may issue an order requiring a county mutual insurance company to cease and desist from engaging in any act or practice found to be in violation of this chapter or any other applicable law, rule, regulation or order of the commissioner.
Any order issued pursuant to this section shall be accompanied by a notice to the county mutual insurance company as to the right to have a hearing. All hearings conducted pursuant to this chapter shall be conducted in accordance with the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act, compiled in title 4, chapter 5.
Without limitation on other remedies provided by law, upon finding that any county mutual insurance company or other person has violated any cease and desist order issued by the commissioner, the commissioner may seek enforcement of the order through the attorney general and reporter in the chancery court of Davidson County.
