Execution of Mortgages and Evidences of Indebtedness — Liability of Members

The chancellor commander of the lodge has the power to execute and issue the evidences of indebtedness, and to execute any mortgage, deed of trust, transfer, or other conveyance provided for in this part, whenever the chancellor has been instructed by a meeting of the chancellor's lodge to do so. All such evidences of indebtedness, mortgages, deeds of trust, or other conveyances provided for in this part shall be executed by such chancellor commander in the name of the lodge, and shall be attested by the keeper of records and seal of such lodge under its seal.
Neither the chancellor commander, nor the keeper of records and seal, nor any member of the lodge, shall be individually liable for any of the indebtedness incurred by authority of this part.
