To receive authorization to act as a public weighmaster, a person must receive a license from the commissioner. In order to qualify for a license, a person must:
Be able to weigh or measure accurately;
Be able to prepare correct certificates;
Be a citizen of the United States;
Be at least eighteen (18) years of age; and
Possess other qualifications required by regulations promulgated under this part.
