- Property Offenses — Rights of Victims
Victims of crimes involving offenses against property shall have the right to:
- Recover property in the custody of the police or the court as soon as is reasonably possible;
- Restitution ordered as a condition of probation or a suspended sentence or parole and the swift revocation of the privileges for failure to make the ordered restitution; and
- Once a claim under the criminal injuries compensation fund has been filed with the state, the claim shall be disposed of expeditiously and any award or other benefit to which a victim may be entitled shall be paid promptly.
