There are created and established the following administrative departments of state government:
- Department of agriculture;
- Department of audit;
- Department of children's services;
- Department of commerce and insurance;
- Department of correction;
- Department of economic and community development;
- Department of education;
- Department of environment and conservation;
- Department of finance and administration;
- Department of financial institutions;
- Department of general services;
- Department of health;
- Department of human resources;
- Department of human services;
- Department of intellectual and developmental disabilities;
- Department of labor and workforce development;
- Department of mental health and substance abuse services;
- Department of revenue;
- Department of safety;
- Department of state;
- Department of tourist development;
- Department of transportation;
- Department of the treasury;
- Department of veterans services; and
- Legal department.
