It is an offense for any person to knowingly conduct more than one (1) annual event for the benefit of the same nonprofit organization within the twelve-month period beginning July 1 following the application deadline and ending the next June 30.
A violation of this section is a Class A misdemeanor; provided, however, that the maximum fine shall be fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) per event in excess of the authorized annual event.
