IF AND ONLY IF
the certificates required by law have been filed with the court showing the need for involuntary care and treatment, AND
the court finds on the basis of clear, unequivocal and convincing evidence that the defendant is subject to involuntary care and treatment under the statute under which the commitment is sought,
THEN
the court shall commit the person under the commitment statute on which the complaint is based.
