- Modification of Award
The court is empowered, on motion of either party, to correct or modify the award:
- Where there is manifest a miscalculation of figures, or a mistake in the description of any person, thing or property referred to in the award;
- Where there has been covered in the award a matter not submitted, if not merely incident, not affecting the merits of matters submitted;
- Where the award is defective or imperfect in a matter of form not affecting the merits; and
- To effect the true and just intent thereof.
