- Misconduct in Performance of Duties for Purposes of Misleading Another
A person commits a Class C misdemeanor who, with the purpose of misleading a person in the performance of such person's official duties under this title:
- Makes any written or oral false statement which such person does not believe to be true;
- Purposely creates a false impression in a written application required by this title by omitting information necessary to prevent statements therein from being misleading; or
- Submits or invites reliance on any writing which such person knows to be forged, altered or otherwise lacking in authenticity.
