36-24-9.1. Per diem and expenses of board--Personnel.
Each board member shall receive a per diem set pursuant to §4-7-10.4 and expenses at the same rate as other state employees while actually engaged in official duties. The board, pursuant to chapter 3-6D, may hire office personnel necessary to perform the board's official duties.
