34-20A-66.1. Payment for treatment under emergency commitment or protective custody.

Payment for treatment under emergency commitment, or under protective custody pursuant to §34-20A-55 if emergency commitment is not required, may be assessed to the individual, to a legally responsible relative or guardian, to the county of residence if indigent, or billed to the division through contract with an approved treatment facility. Any payment for emergency commitment to the Human Services Center is subject to the requirements of chapter 27A-13.
