24-5-3. Clothing, money, and transportation provided on discharge.

Every inmate, when discharged from the penitentiary, whether by parole, suspended sentence, or final discharge, if not already provided, shall be provided with suitable clothing, a sum of money to be determined by the secretary of corrections, and transportation to the place where the inmate received sentence or an equivalent distance.
