The sum of $3,000,000 of the amount appropriated to the agency for EMS company grants under section 1799-E of the act of April 9, 1929 (P.L.343, No.176), known as The Fiscal Code, shall be expended for the purpose of making grants to eligible EMS companies under Subchapter C (relating to emergency medical services grant program).
