(a) Is liable for any resulting loss of, or damage to, the equipment.
(b) Shall pay any expense incurred by the responding county, city or district for transportation, performance or maintenance of the equipment.
(2) A claim for loss, damage or expense under subsection (1) of this section must be filed within 60 days after the loss, damage or expense is incurred, or within any extension of time for filing the claim granted by the Department of State Police.
