(1) "Oregon prekindergarten" means a program that is recognized by the Early Learning Division as meeting the minimum program rules to be adopted by the Early Learning Council and that provides comprehensive health, education and social services to children prenatally through five years of age in order to maximize the potential of those children when they enter kindergarten.

(2) "Oregon prekindergarten program" means the statewide administrative activities carried on within the Early Learning Division to allocate, award and monitor state funds appropriated to create or assist local Oregon prekindergartens.

(3) "Preschool Promise Program" means the preschool program administered by the Early Learning Division under ORS 329.172. [Formerly 326.600; 2001 c.831 §15; 2005 c.209 §10; 2013 c.624 §4; 2019 c.646 §1]

As used in ORS 329.170 to 329.200:
