Appropriations made to the Office of Management and Enterprise Services for the mailing service shall be used for the acquisition, purchase, lease, repair, and replacement of equipment needed in the operation of the mailing service, and may be used for the payment of salaries, and in the purchase of necessary postage, materials and supplies, and in the payments of the administrative expenses of the Office of Management and Enterprise Services in connection with the operation of the mailing service. At the end of each month the Office shall furnish a statement, on such reasonable basis of pieces of mail and communications handled, as shall be established by the Office, to all state agencies and departments to which the mailing service has been furnished. All amounts collected shall be deposited pursuant to Sections 76 through 76b of this title to the credit of the General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury. Any proceeds from the sale or disposition of any equipment or property used by the Office in the operation of the mailing service shall be deposited to the credit of the State Treasury.
