The portion of State Highway 271 beginning south of the municipal limits of Hugo and ending north of the municipal limits of Grant shall be designated as the "Trooper J.C. Magar Memorial Highway". The Department of Transportation shall cause suitable permanent markers bearing that name to be placed on the highway.
