A. Any person who knowingly makes or procures the making of a false statement in an application submitted pursuant to Sections 15-111 through 15-113 of this title is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each falsified statement. This penalty shall be stated on all applications.

B. 1. Any person who has not been issued a physically disabled parking placard pursuant to the provisions of Section 15-112 of this title, a physically disabled license plate issued pursuant to the provisions of Section 1135.1 of this title, a disabled veterans license plate pursuant to the provisions of Section 1135.2 of this title, a Purple Heart recipient license plate issued pursuant to the provisions of Section 1135.2 of this title, a disability sticker issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs and federal military bases, or a physically disabled placard or license plate issued by another state, and uses a placard, sticker, or license plate to park in a disabled parking place is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00). A person transporting a physically disabled person with an authorized placard, sticker or license plate, as provided in subsection A of Section 11-1007 of this title, shall be excluded from the provisions of this section.

2. Any person who has been issued a physically disabled parking placard pursuant to the provisions of Section 15-112 of this title, a physically disabled license plate issued pursuant to the provisions of Section 1135.1 of this title, a disabled veterans license plate pursuant to the provisions of Section 1135.2 of this title or a Purple Heart recipient license plate issued pursuant to the provisions of Section 1135.2 of this title, and knowingly allows the placard or license plate to be used by a person not issued the placard or license plate as described in paragraph 1 of this subsection, is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00).

C. A person who knowingly makes a counterfeit physically disabled parking placard or physically disabled license plate is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each counterfeit placard or license plate made by such person.
