(A) The assistant quartermaster general, under direction of the adjutant general as quartermaster general, shall have charge of all state military property and property of the adjutant general's department belonging to the state.
(B) The assistant quartermaster general shall keep an accurate account of state military property and property of the adjutant general's department and prepare reports as the adjutant general directs.
(C) The assistant quartermaster general shall perform other duties assigned by the adjutant general.
(D) In the absence or disability of the adjutant general and the assistant adjutants general, the assistant quartermaster general shall perform the duties of the adjutant general.
