Notwithstanding any provision of section 4117.08 or 4117.10 of the Revised Code to the contrary, no agreement entered into under this chapter on or after September 29, 2005, shall prohibit a school district board of education from utilizing volunteers to assist the district and its schools in performing any of their functions, other than functions for which a license, permit, or certificate issued by the state board of education under Chapter 3319. of the Revised Code or a certificate issued under division (A) or (B) of section 3327.10 of the Revised Code is required.
