53-213. Prohibitions.

(a) Except as expressly permitted by this Article or by federal law, no out-of-state bank holding company shall acquire a North Carolina bank holding company or a North Carolina bank.

(b) Repealed by Session Laws 1993, c. 175, s. 11.
