Motor vehicle department [division] fees imposed by regulation; revenue disposition.

All revenues from all fees imposed by the motor vehicle department [motor vehicle division of the taxation and revenue department] solely by regulation, without statutory authority, shall be paid to the state treasurer for credit to the state road fund.

ANNOTATIONS

Bracketed material. — The bracketed material near the beginning of the section was inserted by the compiler. Laws 1977, ch. 250, § 4, abolished the motor vehicle department. Laws 1977, ch. 250, § 3 (9-12-3 NMSA 1978, now repealed) created the motor vehicle division of the transportation department. See, now, 9-11-4 NMSA 1978 as to creation of taxation and revenue department and divisions thereof. The bracketed material was not enacted by the legislature and is not part of the law.
