Chapter 27, Article 2B NMSA 1978 may be cited as the "New Mexico Works Act".

Cross references. — For liability for repayment of public assistance, see 27-2-28 NMSA 1978.

The 2009 amendment, effective June 19, 2009, changed the reference to the act to the chapter and article of NMSA 1978.

Applicability. — Laws 2009, ch. 186, § 7 provided that the provisions of Laws 2009, ch. 186 apply beginning August 1, 2009.
